B. We Get God’s Power to release miracles and resist the Devil (James 4:7, 10) when we Pray and Fast! We fast to overcome temptations, strengthen our walk with God & clear the channel so God’s Spirit can flow thru us! When daily prayer is not enough, fasting takes Prayer to a higher level. When the disciples were unable to an epileptic boy, Jesus said in Matt. 17:21 “This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” When you demonstrate your sincerity with fasting, God listens attentively and responds. How much power this Church could enjoy, if we all commit to pray and fast from sunrise to sunset one day a week or periodically do a ten or twenty-one day “water and vegetable” Daniel Fast. I encourage you to "Draw the Circle" of what you are believing for! At New Hope, we are coming together on Wednesday Nights at 7 PM in January for breakthrough of special needs!
C. We Grab Answers as we Draw Near to God (James 4:8) in a sold-out radical life in Fasting and Prayer this Year! That’s because drawing near to God causes Him to draw near to us and our prayers become charged with the overcoming life and power of Jesus! No longer can you be half filled with the world and half filled with God. The Fire of the Holy Spirit MARKS the presence of God in our lives. As you get things under the blood, you dominate over what once dominated you. For this reason in 2019, we must live sold out to God and take possession of what God has wanted to give…
1. A life filled with God’s Presence,
Power and Peace!
2. A life that overcomes past sin, present sickness, and experiences God’s eternal promises!
3. A life of purpose and supernatural life “eating the good of the land” (Isa. 1:19) and enjoying every good thing Heaven has to offer!
Let God’s all-consuming Fire consume your past life and let your thoughts lift as you are immersed in service for the Lord! To truly DISCOVER YOU and God’s Greater Purposes in 2019 ...you must experience His priorities and power! Acts 1:8 says, “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses”. II. REPEAT GOD’S WORD AND HUNGER FOR GOD’S POWER
A. To experience the Supernatural, we must recommit to the Sacred! Fasting, Sowing, Reading and Decreeing God’s Word means putting God first! It means persistence in the Spiritual and a hunger for the Sacred! It means giving up what I have held back from the Lord to gain all God has for me.
