Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body. But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, (Ephesians 5:22 - 25, NASB).
If you are not married, and you desire to be, start right now on getting rid of the word "divorce". Do not even entertain the idea. Look forward to a long committed relationship and have an attitude of perseverance going into the union. Of course there will be some issues between the two of you because you have to get to know each other. Also, do not fool yourself. You both have some form of baggage you are bringing into the marriage. Therefore, you are not perfect. Before you point the finger at your partner, remember to point the finger at you first. Purpose in your heart before taking the vows that you are going to bring into the marriage the best "YOU" and work on those areas that need perfecting.
Marriage is intended for a lifetime. Do not go into it unless you intend to persevere through the tough times, and there will be, but remember you chose each other, and God blessed the union (Proverbs 18:22).
Work hard at your marriage like you would work hard at your career or anything your heart is in. Do not take it for granted and above all, give it to God and allow Him to bless you and reveal to you the areas that you both should work on to make the marriage enjoyable.
