When you think about Louisville, most people think about horse racing, which is very big in this area. One popular place is the Kentucky Derby Museum. This next place is not too far from Michigan with just 2 highways to get there, Interstate 75 to Interstate 71. I have been there on many trips and spent the night there on different occasions. Louisville is the largest city in the state situated next to the Ohio River. There is a lot to see and do there if you know what to look for, plus there are some great attractions near Louisville, less than one hour away, like the state capitol in the city of Frankfort.
Anyway, if you are a baseball fan this attraction should be on the top of your list, which is the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory. At the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, experience history-in-the-making as you stroll through the actual factory where world-famous Louisville Slugger bats are created.
