I recently watched the movie “What if”. The main character, Ben Walker was a very successful stockbroker. He was a partner of a successful firm and had the most expensive car and a beautiful fiancée. He hit his head and went into a delusion. God showed him another life he could have lived as a pastor, married to his sweetheart and had two kids (girls). The fast-paced lifestyle -- he didn’t want to leave, but God was pulling him in another direction/lifestyle that was simpler and “easier to get into heaven with”. He still used his stockbroker skills as a pastor, however God wanted him to be a pastor instead of a stockbroker. God gave him the opportunity to choose in the end. He compared his fast-paced life to his slower steady one. At the end of the movie, he chose to become the pastor instead.
Isaiah 1:19 reads, “if ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land”. Sometimes our blessings are not coming forth because we may not be
