FROM
THE EDITOR'S
DESK
Well, as we embark on seeking and striving to be our best this year, we do not want to forget who is in complete control of our lives, and who supplies provision in every area to reach our goals and fulfill our destiny. God has been dealing with me about His people trusting Him for provision, but not just supplying of a need, but super provision. He wants to do exceeding and abundantly more than you can imagine (Ephesians 3:20, 21). He wants to catapult your life to the apex of your destiny. He wants you to truly understand that it is no longer about your abilities, but His ability. The secular world will tell you to work hard and you will eventfully reach your goal. It doesn't matter who or what you may have to forsake to achieve this goal. God on the other hand instructs us to trust Him and lean not unto our own understanding but acknowledge Him in all of our ways and He will instruct, present opportunities, give us favor and fulfill our inner most desires, if we put him first (Proverbs 3: 5, 6). When God is in it, nothing goes unfulfilled.
The articles in this issue will uplift your spirit and encourage you to seek and expect an overflow of God's blessings this year. He is El Shaddai-the God of "Super provision". Forget the resolution that you may have meticulously promised to fulfill this year. Instead, ask Him to be the Pilot of every area of your life that you want to improve. If you just have to make a
resolution, then let it be this----Put God first, give thanks daily for everything and seek Him early in the morning to spend that quality time with Him (I Thessalonians 5:18).
Finally, as we commemorate Black History Month, let's remember our African American pioneers who made sacrifices for not only their own people, but for the nation and for the world to be a better place. Let the poem that I am submitting inspire you to look at the greatness of creation and understand the infinite intent of God's plan for mankind. I hope you enjoy this issue and allow it to touch a place in your heart that may be longing to be erected. Also, don't forget to love yourself and be an inspiration to others as
you Discover......Your Own Uniqueness! Be Blessed!!!
Sincerely,
