FEATURED ARTICLE
I hope you will take out the time to go through this month’s issue to experience beforehand the coming event. In this issue, you will see the vendors, and entertainers, but you still must come to see the vendor displays and see the entertainers perform. You will receive words of inspiration, have a great meal and more. One of our main attractions is a sixteen-year-old accomplished saxophone player, Christian Marcum. We will also be featuring a dynamic youth dance group called, “Kingdom Kids” and they will blow your mind. Also, we have two adult attractions that will rock your soul and make you move your feet. Ms. Queen Dyna with the spoken word and accomplished dancer, PattiDuke Jordan will leave you refreshingly uplifted. I am telling you; you do not want to miss it.
Of course, the reason for the event will be featured; our participants from the STEP UP program will be showcased during the event; you will be greatly impressed. With that group one of our keynote speakers, Mohammad Monet, an alumnus of last year’s program will touch your heart with his true life story of lose, gain and triumph.
In this issue, we want you all to enjoy the pictures taken of this year’s WOW Event. You will see the faces of the many attendees who partook of this joyous occasion. The highlights of the event were the youth who participated, Christian Marcum, and the Kingdom Kids Dancers who you will see in this month’s issue. One of our alumni, Mr. Mohammad Monet, was a guest speaker at the event whose touching testimony moved the audience almost to tears. I also spoke; my speech being entitled “It’s Your Turn”. And let’s also acknowledge the many vendors who were able to provoke our attendees to spend a lot of money. The food was great, and the spirits were high and that will be evident when you see the pictures with the many smiles on their faces.
But the WOW Event is not the only element featured in this issue. You can look forward to getting many inspiring and informative articles in this issue written by the experts and those who wrote their articles with passion. The magazine has the same zeal, excitement and excellence that we always convey every month.
