know of anyone who is busier that our past President, yet he made time to take his lovely wife out on dates. The kids stayed home, and Barack and Michelle were in their own world of bliss. If the busiest man in our nation can wine and dine his wife, surely, you and your spouse can make time to go on a real date to keep the marriage in hyper mode.

He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love (Song of Solomon 2: 4, KJV).

It is so easy to become complacent with your spouse and your marriage. You must work at keeping it interesting; it does not just fall into place and happen. If you do not have fire in your marriage, maybe you are the fire extinguisher. It does not matter how long you have been married; you can still have the fun and happiness you once had, if it is no longer there. Look at your calendar, especially during this holiday season, and choose a date that you want to spend quality time with your spouse outside of the house. Somewhere special that no one else in your family is invited; leave the friends out too. Do not let anything interfere with your plans and then go have the time of your life. Make this a habit to take into next year and all the years proceeding. I promise you, if you do this, you are going to see the love and romance come back into your lives and then you will celebrate that next marriage anniversary with a big grin on your face, and only you and that special someone will know why.
