If you are an art lover you will like this next FREE attraction which is the “Toledo Museum of Art.” They are open 6 days a week with a $7 dollar parking fee being the only expense. The address is 2445 Monroe Street in the city of Toledo less than an hour south of me. There is a coffee bar and a food café onsite there. See their website for more details.
Airstream
Here is something that sound like fun and that is a guided tour of “Airstream.” This is a FREE factory tour that happens on a regular basis. They are located at 419 West Pike Street in the city of Jackson Center, Ohio. You will see the construction of travel trailers (RV’s). You need to see the website for all additional information too numerous to write down.
Harry London's Chocolate Factory Tours
Here is a nice FREE tour which is the Harry London's Chocolate Factory (Fannie May Chocolates), which is a FREE 45 minute tour with video shown. They are located at 5353 Lauby Road in the city of North Canton. If you like chocolate they will give you FREE samples at the end or the tour. See their website for all details.
There is another nice tour to take which is the “Honda Heritage Center and Auto Plant Tour.” This place offers FREE guided and self-guided tours of the assemble plant. The guided tours need a reservation but call or see their website for complete information. Parking is also FREE. The guided tour lasts about 2.5 hours, but the self-guided tour is about 60 to 90 minutes to see everything which needs no reservation. Make sure you have some comfortable shoes while touring this factory. The address to this factory is 24025 Honda Parkway in the city of Marysville. This place is located near the center of the state, near Columbus.
