They Learned—and They Ate Well!
No successful summer program is complete without good food! Throughout the program, students received breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Meals included food from local restaurants and caterers, giving our youth an opportunity to enjoy a variety of meals while participating in the program.
Keeping our students nourished was another important part of creating an environment where they could learn, participate, and enjoy each day.
Our enrichment teachers were awesome as well.
One of our major contributors and partners with our Summer Step Up Programs and this year, our Discover Works and Step Up Program Kevin Watkins of Comerica Fifth Third Bank. Thank you Mr. Watkins for teaching great financial literacy lessons to our students.
