C.We must REPENT of forsaking of our first love and RESTORE priority on doing the spiritual things we have stopped doing. Jesus takes this very seriously, and Rev. 2:5 continues by warning, “If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.” Rather than blaming COVID fears or others for negative changes in our spiritual life, we must acknowledge our sins before the Lord! If we have gotten caught up with the things of this world, have allowed wrong attitudes to fester in our hearts, have entertained sin, yielded to the flesh, have neglected our walk with God, or have distanced ourselves from Him… God is calling us back to that place of refreshing and intimacy with Him! The Good News is that God loves us, is for us, and wants to help us redeem the time! He is waiting and ready to restore our family and us to the needed REVIVAL FIRE!

PRAY THIS PRAYER: “Search me, O God and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: and see if there be any wicked way in me and lead me in the way everlasting” (Psa. 139:23-24). I confess that I have slowed down in prayer, witness, reading Your Word, church attendance, giving and spiritual living. God, I ask for Your forgiveness and commit to a renewed spirit of determination to serve You! Fill me with Your Fresh Fire, increase my zeal for Holiness and the Holy Spirit, restore my prayer life and stir me to soul winning and kingdom giving. In Jesus’ Name, I pray this! Amen!”
