realize that damaged emotions can have no parts in the assignment. Let them go and let God present to the world His whole, separated, and unique person that is created for others to enjoy just as much as He does. At the end of all of this, decree that all is well, even with my emotions. There is nothing too hard for God to perfect and He perfects damaged emotions and brings healing.
The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth forever: forsake not the works of thine own hands (Psalms 138:8, KJV).

Oftentimes, when you must deal with damaged emotions that have manifested itself during your marriage, it is probably because you were dealing with unresolved issues before your marriage, and you brought them into the marriage. This is not a judgmental statement; it is just a sound observation. Most people who get marriage are not whole, separate, and unique only because they do not take out the time to work on interior qualities. If there is emotional pain that was inflicted on you during childhood and as a young adult, they often go unattended too. There is more emphasis placed on achieving tangible things such as status, wealth, and physical attractiveness.
Let's change the playing field and begin to focus on how wonderful you are despite your faults. Begin to see yourself as being fearfully and wonderfully made in the eyesight of God (Psalms 139:14). Take damaged emotions to Him by first admitting that they are there and then asking Him to heal them. Ask Him to help you to forgive the person who afflicted you and forgive yourself for whatever part you may have played.
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified (Isaiah 61: 3, KJV).
Begin to see yourself as a single creative entity that God created for a unique purpose on this earth and
