another human deliverer, we are looking for The One Redeemer! With the help of the Holy Spirit, “we are able to do greater works” as we await Jesus’ return. We don’t need to be living in this world worrying about what is going to happen, because the final chapter of human history has already been written in the Book of Revelation and the Holy Spirit is with us to the end of this age to bring in an end time revival! Pray and prepare for it!
C. Help in Prayer and Power - In John 14:13-14, Jesus assures us He Will Hear Us when we Pray. We can get as close to Him as we want through hunger, thirst and intimacy in prayer. He assures us “If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it”. Also v. 18, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” We serve One who is able to help us by giving us that which we need day by day! He further provides the Help and Power we need for each day when He says in v. 10, “In that day (day of challenge) you will know that I am in My Father and you in Me, and I in you!” (Also in v. 23, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make our abode (of power) with him!” The Holy Spirit also comes to Indwell, Invest, Instruct and Inspire Us!
I praise the Lord that believers have hope for this hour! Even when I don’t understand what is going to happen…when it seems that everything is falling apart…when I don’t know which way to turn, that I can count on the Lord Jesus!
He has given and will continue to give us all we need. Whether your need is for salvation, help for service, peace of heart…your remedy is found in Him!
