JESUS IS STILL DOING MIRACLES!

I.THEY BELIEVED and TAUGHT THE WORD OF GOD AS SUPPORT FOR HEALING

A.The Word is a vital key to miracles! This miracle in Acts 3 is important since it’s the first one recorded after Jesus’ ascension and Pentecost. As Peter and John acted on the Word within them at the hour of prayer…miracles happened! Acts 4:31 says, “They spoke the Word of God with boldness”. They used the Name and Blood of Jesus and received what Jesus said in John 14:12 that we would do the “same works” as Jesus did and even “greater works”! Jesus gave them/us authority who apply his word in Luke10:9, claiming:

B.Belief in the Word, Declaring and Activating it is key to results! This resulted in cities shaken, multitudes saved, the sick healed, and dead brought to life again. In Acts 3 on encountering a man in a naturally hopeless situation crippled from birth…they saw it an opportunity for a miracle! They remembered Jesus’ words in Matt. 24:35 “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my Words shall not pass away”. So, persuaded by what the Blood and the Word of Jesus

While Easter may be over, the Miracles Jesus provided are NOT! Jesus on the cross said, “It is Finished” (Your salvation, deliverance and healing). Matter of fact, Peter wrote in I Peter 2:24, “He (Jesus) Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you WERE HEALED!” The Good News is that when Jesus ascended to heaven, He said in Mark 16:17-18 “These signs will accompany those who believe, in My name, they will…lay hands on the sick and THEY WILL RECOVER! Peter and the Early Church believed this and Acts 3 shares a wonderful story that in the physical absence of Jesus, supernatural power was just as great when the Name and Blood of Jesus was exercised by His Church. The basis for miracles today is found in Hebrews 13:8 which says, “Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, and today, and forever!” So, get into church services (like at New Hope Assembly, Taylor on April 27-28) where you can believe and claim your miracle from God.
