BEFORE YOU SAY "I DO"
I am a firm believer that when you do it right, meaning that your motives are pure and both parties truly and sincerely love each other, God will bless your marriage from beginning to end. Now I am by no means saying that there will not be trials and tribulations in your marriage, but the trials and tribulations should not be with each other. You are allies and you are a team joined together as a force to come against the wiles of the enemy and the cares of this world (Ephesians 6:12, I John 2: 16. 16). You should be spending time on your face praying for others around you and not about how you frustrate each other or issues that should have been settled before you both got married. Your marriage should be wealthy because God says it is. There is favor (prosperity, provisions, happiness, joy, unmerited favor, unconditional love, etc, etc.....). This is how God has intended to bless a marriage that is sanctioned by Him. It is evident.
God will open up unlimited doors for a man to provide for his wife and family and it is usually by the works of his hands and his gifts and abilities (Psalms 1: 3). I do not believe it is God's best for a man to support his family by panhandling, scavenging for things people have dis-guarded, manipulating or begging others to take care of his family (I Timothy 5:8, II Thessalonians 3: 12). King David said in Psalms 37:25, "I was once young and now I am old and I have never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging for bread". God's provision is through His favor which means that the husband will make a living through hard work and utilizing his gifts, talents, and learned abilities. God will make provision for the husband to provide for his family in what he can take pride in through work.
Remember, God knows that the man must provide for his wife and He will provide every honorable way for him to take care of his family because it is His desire.
