VISITOR'S BOOK President Ram Nath Kovind meets Ibrahima Kassory Fofana, Prime Minister of Republic of Guinea at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi (March 18, 2019) VISIT OF PRIME MINISTER OF THE REPUBLIC OF GUINEA (MARCH 16-25, 2019) D r Ibrahima Kassory Fofana, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Guinea visited India to attend the 14th edition of CII EXIM Bank Conclave on India Africa Project Partnership. He also called on the President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Welcoming the Prime Minister of Guinea and his delegation to India, the President said that recent high-level visits have imparted a new momentum to India-Guinea bilateral ties. He VISIT OF VICE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF GHANA TO INDIA (MARCH 16-20, 2019) expressed confi dence that this visit will mark yet another high point. The President was happy to note that India is among the top trading partners of Guinea. He said that India-Guinea bilateral trade in 2017-18 reached almost US$ 900 million, representing an increase of nearly 40 percent from the previous year. He said that both sides must continue to work to see how we can further enhance bilateral trade in the coming years. Minister Al Jubeir met and held discussions with External Aff airs Minister Sushma Swaraj on the entire gamut of bilateral relations. They took note of signifi cant developments after the visit of His Royal Highness to India. EAM reiterated that an immediate irreversible and verifi able action to dismantle terror infrastructure is essential to fi ght the menace of terror. It was agreed that the Strategic Partnership Council would be set up at the earliest.
