The Civil War hung in balance of Lincoln who is searching for a general and to keep the four borer states in the union. Davis(genral) ordered an army to the East which they succeeded but fell on the West they had to rely on King Cotton Diplomacy which force Euopean nations to grant recognition. Sadly for the south, in the two years previous to the war it's bumper crops which allowed the two cheif benefactors Britian and France to trade.
