means through which air was channeled and controlled through wheel arches, around the teardrop roof, and along the flanks, as well as around the rearview mirrors, over the hood and up to the elliptical trailing edge, where two mobile and visible wings help to further improve aerodynamics.

Technological sophistication also allowed the

Utopia Roadster to remain as light as the Coupé, stopping at 1,280 kg [dry weight]. A lot of this is due to the use of eight suspension wishbones, forged from aeronautical aluminum alloy, that are designed to guarantee both strength and lightness. But overall, it is an exceptional figure for a large hyper car equipped with a V12 engine that produces 864 horsepower (an amount comparable to many race engines). The seven-speed gearbox is positioned transversely behind the engine and is connected to a lightweight triple-plate clutch. And driving all is a seven-speed manual transmission, designed in collaboration with British specialist Xtrac, that retains traditional mechanics and is controlled by a titanium-grilled lever.
