An Additional Treat
Aside from the exhibition which took place inside Hougton Hall, there was an exterior room where Dame Magdalene Odundo chose to exhibit a different kind of work. It was a blown-glass vessels installation that is based on the form of a 3500-year-old ear stud from Ancient Egypt. Titled "Metamorphosis and
Transformation," the installation was created in 2011 and draws on Odundo’s “interest in geological formations and narratives of migration and human survival."
