The Common Palour Room
The Common Parlour Room, which was used as the family dining room during Walpole’s lifetime, contains one of the largest collections of Walpole family portraits. A more intimate room than others, it is deliberately devoid of the spectacular decorative style that characterizes the other state rooms at Houghton.
n this room, Odundo chose to place two black burnished terracotta pieces from 1990.
