Racism In football is it worse now than 20 years ago .
The fans in football are ruining the lovely game we have known for many years . Our sport is now starting to be destroyed through the use of racism . In November of last year a man of 53 years of age was arrested after an undercover Sky news reporter standing in the stand at the Millwall ground heard the man shoutat El-Hadji Diouf ( slave , and a black B ******) Whenever Diouf was on the ball the fans chanted monkey sounds .
Marvin Sordell complained to the referee that there was a racial banner which a 13 year old boy had made . This boy is now banned from all Millwall games forever . Racism can not be tolerated !
In March 2011 when Brazil played Scotland a Scottish fan threw a banana at the 19 year old Neymar junior after scoring the first goal at Hamden . After the match Neymar said “ I feel great and scored two but what happened with the banana is sad ." " I don ' t want to make a big deal of it . I was running down the touchline in the second half and saw it but I didn ' t see where it came from . Fans must not treat anyone like this .

Is racism more prevalent now in football than 20 years ago ? In the 1970s to the 1980s racism was at a massive 80 % with black player being called “ lacked bottle “ because fans thought that black players couldn ’ t fulfil what their mangers were telling them to do . But as more English teams sign more black players the better the better the team became . Evidence is shown on their wage bill .
In modern times people would say that racism is more to the surface these days as more racial abuse is being treated much more severely with people being arrested and fined with racial abuse on football players .

This picture on the left show a lot of what goes on in football now a days everything is swept under the carpet and left till it gets even worse the next time . The banana accident with Neymar was left and not that long ago there was the same accident with Gareth bale at arsenal when a man was band after throwing a banana at Gareth ball . If these things aren ’ t dealt with this are going to get out of hand soon people will be assaulting players .
After the racial abuse that Neymar received players started to wear these arm band to say that players are fed up with all the racial abuse their friends and teammates are receiving and want people to know if this dose continue some players that are taking the abuse have took the major step in saying to their managers that they don ’ t want to play against the teams were they receive the racial abuse which dose put a standstill in some players career .
