I believe that I can change the way you feel about eating healthily ! By saying that you are going to start eating more healthy foods and not touch any fatty or sugar foods would seem a hard and unrealistic goal but by gradually adding fruit and vegetables to your diet you can begin to break the habit of reaching for these unhealthy foods when you are feeling the need to snack . You may also want to try preparing vegetables in advance ; this would mean that when you want to snack , you can turn the healthy option .
If eating fruit and veg on their own isn ’ t your thing , you could try adding them to meals and gradually working your way up , for example : when having a main meal , add a portion of veg . Soup is also another good way to start eating more vegetables and it ’ s quick too . When having difficulty adding fruit to your diet you could try creating a smoothie this way you get some of your 5 a day and a nice healthy drink too !
When talking about eating more vegetables or more fruits , you don ’ t have to go for the boring and basic ones you could try something exotic and new , there is bound to be one fruit or vegetable that you think : I actually quite like this ”. If you don ’ t like one fruit or vegetable , try another , you can ’ t give up on eating healthy just Look at how easy it is to take a basic meal plan and alter it to , to make it
healthier , for example : Normal breakfast : Cornflakes with milk and if you like a bit of sweetness , sugar sprinkled on the top . Healthy breakfast : Cornflakes with semi-skimmed milk top with chopped banana for natural sweetness .
