His family fled from Irak. He can speak Kurdish, Arabic, Swedish and English. He himself is the model for newly arrived refugees: the maximum priority is to learn Swedish so as to integrate in the society as quickly as possible. He plans his lessons according to the students’ general knowledge and the time spent in Sweden. There are maximum 15 students in his classes and he uses placement test and adapts all the material according to the multiple levels. Arivan also showed us two websites: https://www.elevspel.se/ https://www.studi.se/ Basic concepts are translated into different languages. This tool could be of great use in our “aules d’acollida”. It is also a good way to make multiculturality visible in classrooms. 18
