After having analysed the structure and functioning of the College of Engineers of Venezuela and other related foundations, the following conclusions can be established in this regard:
The engineering college is a moral body of a public nature, with legal personality and its own heritage.
Its main objective is to serve as a guardian of the public interest and to act as an adviser to the State in matters within its competence.
The College of Engineers has an Assembly, a Board of Directors, a Disciplinary Tribunal and an Electoral Council in its structure.
There is only one College of Engineers of Venezuela and its headquarters are located in the capital of the nation, the others are only centers of Engineers distributed by the main cities of the country.
It is governed by the Law on the Exercise of Engineering, Architecture and Related Professions.
It has the foundations Juan José Aguerrevere, CAGIGAL, FIMP and FONPRES to carry out its objective.
All members of the Venezuelan College of Engineers, including their aspiring members as students, must be governed by the code of ethics and fulfill the duties required there.
