The College of Physicians and Surgeons
of Ontario is the licensing and regulatory
body governing the practice of medicine
in Ontario. The College is responsible
for setting and maintaining medical
standards, licensing physicians,
investigating complaints about physicians
on behalf of the public, and disciplining
doctors found to have committed act(s) of
professional misconduct.

Council approved the consultation of a by-law that contemplates making public those Specified Continuing Educational or Remediation Programs which are
ordered by the Quality Assurance Committee.
Council also considered the principles for use by the Registrar in exercising his
discretion to remove information from the public register.
