How can we be the transformation that we need in our world? I don’t have the answer yet but I have had many adventures in my life exploring that question. I feel most motivated in disruptive environments, where people simply decide to take ownership and make the impossible happen. I am a professional hippie. A knomad who enjoys playful challenges, oneness and collaboration. What triggers me is discovering and experimenting with new spaces and ways to live together and to collaborate. Put me in self-organized and non-hierarchical processes and I will flow. Let's find out that guarded place within us and expand our impact and influence by bonding and creating trust and harmony. So who I am? I am still figuring that out. Our business world would classify me as graduate with a Masters in Economics and International Business, an executive coach, a self-employed business consultant and co-founder of presente! Not married but always in love. Since my stay in Brazil, I have been meeting one ‘player’ after the other. Fairies, magicians, light workers, witches, wizards, Vikings, they all showed up. They gave me important hints. Some stayed, some disappeared. But all of us have kept in touch. And The Movement Was Born The world has been transforming in a quick and dynamic way so that we need to unlearn what we learned and choose paths of whose existence we may not be aware yet. We need to prepare ourselves for uncertainty of life and a new era. We should not accept anything as status quo as more and more often we will be forced into situations in which we will have to create our own guidance and safety within us. It depends on each one of us to create new individual visions and take on personal leadership to carry them out. It depends on us to be part of the shift. At presente! we run a conscious leadership program called Edu on Tour. We bring educators together with specialists of other fields, social media, lawyers, artists, social entrepreneurs and learn to collaborate. In regions and countries that are totally unknown to us. It often happens that we don’t speak the same language or understand the street signs. In such moments we experience creative problem-solving abilities first hand. Based on conscious leadership and self-organization. In such moments there is no pressure, no losing, no failure, no winning, only room for forgiveness, innovation, imagination and development. A new way of living, working and learning. We start creating a new reality. Last December after finishing the ‘Edu on Tour 2013: Brazil’ – the outcome of my dream – I was sitting in the bus to Bahia. The forest was flying by outside of the window when all of a sudden I realized that my mission in Brazil was over – after four years. The challenge that has remained is to develop the movement presente! – in a playful way. Effortless. Join our next ‘Edu on Tour 2014: Israel’ from October 12th to November 23rd in 2014 in Israel and be part of a paradigm shifting initiative. Support an international crew of changemakers that play the education (r)evolution. Edu on Tour is a self-organized, distributed knomadic movement with the goal of building a vibrant and disruptive community of education activists and social entrepreneurs. Small crews of young and conscious leaders travel through a certain region or state visiting schools and learning communities, interviewing change makers and organizing events and gatherings. We make the shift visible. life design presente!, is a movement that supports the shift in education. Our intention is to create a collaborative structure without hierarchy, or as we call it, hierarchy of the moment. Our mission is to connect with the most powerful creators of realities – our youth – with our current decision makers. We connect the pioneers and early adapters. Together we experience what skills we need to acquire for the future in order to overcome obstacles that occur on the way.
