In winter , when the light is low , the change of colour plays on every blade of grass , every lake ripple and every leaf on our sacred landscape . Scattered through that landscape are countless things to do and experience , the fruits of the energy and vision shown over recent years by our inventive and innovative tourism and hospitality sector . Ireland ’ s tourism product has long been worth travelling a long way to see , and they have been coming , from Australia , America , Canada , Europe and Britain .
We have also been learning that it is worth travelling to see , a somewhat shorter journey .
