The historic MacLeod House is a magnificent Scottish mansion dating back to the 19th century , originally built as a private residence for the MacLeod family . The house has been meticulously restored and transformed into a five-star luxury hotel and clubhouse for the golf resort . Set amidst mature woodland in the heart of the estate , it offers luxurious accommodation with 16 individually designed guest rooms and suites . Each room is elegantly appointed with traditional Scottish décor , plush furnishings , and modern amenities . We couldn ’ t refuse a nightcap in Clavis Whisky Bar and chatting about the wonderful whisky menu with the bar man .
