TANGIER PENINSULA Besides having Morocco’ s oldest golf club, the Tangier Peninsula has one of its newest facilities.
The Royal Country Club of Tangier – originally called the Diplomatic Country Club – lies in the centre of the city and is the oldest course on the Mediterranean, predating the oldest layout on Spain’ s Costa del Sol just across the Strait of Gibraltar by more than a decade.
