Faldo Design ’ s most recently completed project in Vietnam is the 18 holes design at Thanh Lanh Valley Golf Resort in which is a short drive from Hanoi . The course has been widely praised since Sir Nick hosted the grand opening in November 2022 . The course weaves it way out and back along a peninsula giving water and mountain views from most holes . The 4th and 14th holes are widely discussed as two par-3 ’ s which demand accuracy , while they bring the surrounding lake into consideration from the tee .

Design Golf Course . The course is located just outside Ho Chi Minh and was a vast open region of the country , with water features being incorporated throughout the course and the final stages of the landscaping being completed so the teeth on the course will only grow as it matures .
SilkPath Golf Resort in Dong Trieu is nearing the grassing stage and during a recent site visit this Sir Nick Faldo Signature course received the final sign off by Sir Nick . With a wide variety of terrain , the course is shaping up to be one of Vietnam ’ s best . With mountain views from every hole and tight pine treed fairways combined with undulating fairways the course will be a true test of golf .
Vattanac Golf Resort is an outstanding 36 hole layout in Phnom Penh , Cambodia . The two 18-hole courses , which Sir Nick will host the grand opening of in November 2023 , sit at the heart of the luxury resort 15km from the center of Cambodia ’ s capital city . The West Course boasts a stark contrast to the East Course which opened in 2019 . The recently completed 18 holes offer more undulating , narrow fairways . Both courses offer a true sense of place and incorporate scale models of the Khmer historical architectural landmarks throughout the designs .
