Route 2 ( Recommended ) : 340 km , a journey of around 6-7 hours from Delhi via Hapur , Gajraula , Moradabad , turn left just before Rampur on road MDR49W to Suar , Bazpur , Kaladhungi , Haldwani , Kathgodam , Bhimtal , Bhowali to Gagar .
Route 3 : 350 km , a journey of around 7 hours from Delhi via Hapur , Gajraula , Moradabad , turn left just before Rampur on road MDR49W to Suar , Bazpur , Kaladhungi , Nainital , Bhowali to Gagar . Though this is a scenic route , it should be avoided due to the traffic congestion within Nainital .
