Internally , we replaced the staircase and increased light penetration . From the Kitchen / Breakfast area , relocated half a level up to the south side of the building , light enters the living room through a huge fish tank , whereas the master suit receives direct sunlight from the roof terrace . The integral garage was converted into a study , also usable as a guest bedroom .
