FCC Classifies Royal Tiger As A C-CIST , And That ’ s A Really Bad Thing
By Angelika Munger
WEB Recon just dropped its April data set and the numbers are eye-popping .
Another 92 TCPA class actions were filed in April . That means 68.1 % of TCPA cases filed that month were class actions . The highest percentage in history — again .
More importantly , TCPA class action filings are up over 39 % from last year !
That is 331 TCPA class actions filed Jan – April 2024 compared to 238 that period last year .
And , of course , last year was already a record breaking year .
2024 filings are smoking 2023 — and those were way higher than 2022 !
This is nuts , folks .

CYSTS are bad . Stutters are bad . And if you stutter while saying cyst , it probably sounds like “ C-CIST ” which is , well , even worse .
What is a C-CIST , you ask ? It ’ s a Consumer Communications Information Services Threat , and a company called Royal Tiger has the dubious ( although historic ) honor of becoming the first company ever to be dubbed a C-CIST by the FCC . Huzzah .
Royal Tiger earned this most regrettable distinction “ due to its repeated origination and transmission of apparently unlawful robocalls related to the impersonation of government entities , banks , and utility companies .” Yeah , that ’ s pretty awful , guys .
What were you thinking , Royal Tiger ? Especially since you ’ re using Queenie ’ s secondary nickname ?
Royal Tiger isn ’ t just a company . It ’ s sort of like a telecom gang — think MEF / Mobile Brotherhood , but even shadier , if that ’ s possible . According to the FCC , the group consists of the following individuals :
• Royal Tiger is led by an individual named Prince Jashvantlal Anand and his associate Kaushal Bhavsar .
• Prince Jashvantlal Anand has used the alias “ Frank Murphy ” and has served as CEO and Director of Illum Telecommunication Limited and as Member and CEO of PZ Telecommunication LLC .
• Kaushal Bhavsar has ties to India and the United States and has served as CEO of One Eye LLC and as Director of Illum Telecommunication Limited .
One Eye , of course , was recently shut down by the FCC in a separate order . The close ties to Royal Tiger didn ’ t help its cause , obviously .
The Commission also named the clients of Royal Tiger in a not-sosubtle suggestion to other carriers that they not work with these folks :
• Mavtel Voip
• Clevertel
• Edoro Technologies
• Q2Serves
• Spinning Mantra Communications Pvt . Ltd .
• Cyber Futuristics Pvt . Ltd .
• lqbri Telecom Pvt . Ltd .
If your company is on this list and you think you ’ re being unfairly treated here , give me a call . Then again , if you ’ re a company on this list and you ’ re a scumbag . . . good .
So yeah . Royal Tiger is now a C-CIST . You don ’ t want to be a C-CIST . But you do want to go to LCOC !
