What is the best thing about being in a
band with a family member?
Everything just goes really smoothly as
we already have balance in our personal
relationship. It’s great because we
always communicate with honesty and
trust, we can say anything to each other.
It’s quite amazing to work so easily with
someone who is such a wonderful artist
while being able to express yourself
honestly.
You’ve got your new single “Nothing To
Wear”, coming out this month. Tell us
more about it?
We will be doing a launch of the single at
a really good venue called The Worker’s
Club in Melbourne. We will be releasing
“Nothing to Wear” along with a B-Side
titled “My Girl” this month (date to be
confirmed)
The song talks about when you’re
getting ready but you start to panic
because you think you have nothing to
wear although you have a wardrobe full
of clothes! Then you try everything on
and think it looks horrible, and finally
decide on the first outfit you tried on.
We want our songs to be relatable to
daily things that happen to us and how
people interact with these things and
with each other. It’s intended to be a
reflection on stupid human behaviour
through wit.
