About the film.
Demented is an opening sequence based on inner turmoil. It circulates around a young couple. The boy, Jake, who suffers from severe depression and his girlfriend, Jade, who suffers from Psychosis.
The movie shows both flash backs and present time. In the flashbacks it is clear to see that both Jake and Jade may seem like happy normal people, however, once they are on their own, their demons reach out to them driving one crazy and the other to depression.
The movie shows that although on the outside, everyone may seem okay, but on the inside they suffer from something dark and dangerous, something that consumes them entirely.
