Formentera is known not only for its endless white sandy beaches and nude bathing, but also for its capricious winds, which you really notice when sailing on a yacht from Ibiza. It does have the advantage, however, that you can chose your beach according to the direction of the wind. While kite surfers are enjoying perfect conditions on one beach, you can relish the calm of the island on another. People
This chiringuito belongs to the Tahiti Hotel in Es Pujols. Here Olivier, its former tenant and cook, created the most delicious octopus salad on the island. Today Olivier has returned to France, but his salad remains, along with many more tapas and cocktails. People is at its very best at sundowner time, when day visitors from the beach mix with new arrivals.
Das Chiringuito gehört zum Tahiti Hotel in Es Pujols. Olivier, der frühere Pächter und Koch, kreierte hier den leckersten Oktopus-Salat auf der Insel. Olivier lebt heute wieder in Frankreich, den Salat gibt es noch und viele weitere Tapas und Cocktails. Am schönsten ist das People zum Sundowner, wenn sich Tagesgäste vom Strand und Neuankömmlinge vermischen.
Restaurante Es Calo
This is considered by many to be the best restaurant on the island. Diners here are won over by its traditional, consistently outstanding cuisine and perfect service. Its situation on the northeastern side of Migjorn offers in the evening excellent views of La Mola( at 192m, Formentera’ s highest mountain!) and Ibiza in the distance.

Die Lage auf der Nordostseite des Migjorn bietet in den Abendstunden eine hervorragende Aussicht auf Ibiza im Hintergrund und auf die Mola( höchster Berg Formenteras mit 192 m!).
By law ships that lay anchor here must avoid the Posidonia( seagrass on the seabed) that has grown here for hundreds of years and is essential for the equilibrium of the island.
