The Dream Team
Founded in 2009 and naming themselves, the ‘Dream Team,’ this group of dedicated and
enthusiastic individuals began their weekly volunteer efforts with the construction of the two
Native American longhouses that are used for lessons about the Lenni Lenape.
Led by Volunteer Guide Gordon Fisher, Jim Bayard, Tim Lantz, Eric Roberson, Hank Seiler,
and Kathy Szczerba meet weekly to work on new projects at our sites. In 2013,
the Dream Team helped construct the Ashland Boardwalk, stream-trail bridge and railings,
additional picnic tables and benches, raised beds in the Coverdale Education Garden, hanging
tomato trellises for the CSA, a canoe rack for the DuPont Environmental Education Center,
and the Coverdale Farm Preserve pond boardwalk and platform, totalling 800 hours of service.
