he Amazon is an amazing area of South America, home to some of the most mind - boggling species in the world. To be specific, the Amazon is located in the Amazon Basin, otherwise found at 3.1600° S, 60. 0300° W. This area does not only consist of a wide variety of wildlife, but also several different landforms including the Andes Mountains, the Amazon River and many more. It may be a surprise for some but the Amazon is a place filled with wonders that may never be discovered by man-kind.
