Dear parents / carers ,
It gives me great pleasure to share with you our Christmas 2020 newsletter , produced by our talented student news team and featuring many of the activities our students and staff have been involved in over the last term . I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff in school for their hard work and commitment during this difficult term and to say a huge well done to all our students who have again ‘ stuck with it ’ even when times have been tough .
Our S6 Leadership teams have been the driving force behind school fundraising efforts and have shown great organisation and creativity in ensuring ‘ Covid safe ’ activities . Events have included the Sponsored Walk , Children in Need Day , South Ayrshire Foodbank collection , the Night Before Christmas Campaign , Christmas Jumper Day and Christmas
The first ever Marr College Virtual Christmas Concert is now ‘ live ’ on YouTube and provides an opportunity for us to showcase the musical talents of our students and staff .
