XO Musical Visit

A lovely surprise happened for S1 and S2 when they got a visit from a growing British girl group who came to sing and perform for the pupils. The band is called XO there are 5 members in the girl group. Their names are Summer, Zoe, Emmy, Shali, and Reanna.
The band came together at the end of 2024 the members came from all over the map, members hail from Essex, London, Liverpool, Derbyshire and one even came from Hong Kong, making them a diverse UK act.
They had a successful tour going all around UK school to visit the pupils to not only perform but to talk the students about body image and mental health. Trying to tell everyone about the impact body image has now a days and how many people have been affected from them not looking the same as people on the internet even though they have probably had a lot of editing done to their pictures. At the start XO performed two songs( Lovesick and Ponytail) to then have their talk and answer any questions the students had. After they gave the students a surprise performance of a song they hadn ' t released yet Real Friends). All the students loved the performance and some even became fans.
