S1 Football Team
The S1 football team started their league with a brilliant 6-1 win away to Prestwick Academy .
After being under early pressure and some good work from Oliver Kerr in goals , headers from corners from Lloyd Davidson and Cody Henderson and a penalty scored by George McGartland after he was brought down after a strong run into the box gave Marr a 3-0 lead at half time .
In the second half Marr dominated and goals from Michael Queen ( 2 ) and another from Lloyd Davidson meant Marr were 6-0 up before a late consolation goal for Prestwick .
As a team there were many strong performances but Player of the Match went to Lloyd Davidson for his good work in defence as well as his goals at the other end .
