Congratulations National Winners !
The Business Department want to say congratulations to our # Digi- Inventors Challenge finalists , Go Tree , who not only made it through to the international final of the competition but have also been crowned as Scottish National Champions !
Only 4 teams from across Scotland are chosen as finalists and we were delighted to have a team in the final for the 5 th year in a row . The competition is run by the Digital Health and Care Innovation Centre ( DHI and challenges students to create innovative ideas which could be developed into a potential digital solution . This year students were tasked with developing an idea for a solution that uses SMART technology to help young people ’ s mental health and wellbeing .
The Go Tree team were invited to take part in a 2-day Bootcamp at the City of Glasgow College . They participated alongside schools from Scotland ( Merchiston Castle School and Eastbank ) and schools from across the United Arab Emirates .
The team worked with industry experts - taking part in several workshops aimed to help develop their entrepreneurial skills , presentation technique and marketing knowledge . Some of the experts included : DHI , the Scottish Tech Army and City of Glasgow College . The

We were blown away when it was announced that Go Tree were the Scottish champions ! Marr College has now won the competition three times and are the only school in Scotland to have won the prestigious award more than once .
The team were an asset to the school and showed fantastic teamwork pulling together to deliver an excellent presentation .
