Santa – I Know Him ! S2 Elf Theatre Trip
Written by Nuala Kelly-Towie
To get into the spirit for Christmas , some lucky S2s got a chance to go on a trip to Kings Theatre Glasgow to see the musical Elf . They went at the end of November and the trip had been organized by the school ' s music department . To get there , we had a bus organized . The show was the musical version of the movie Elf and if you haven ' t seen the movie before , here ' s a description on what the show was about . " Elf is the tale of Buddy , a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa ' s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole . Unaware that he is actually human , Buddy ' s enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth . With Santa ' s permission , Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father , discover his true identity , and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas ."
It was brilliantly performed and everyone there to watch it enjoyed it enormously .
