BASES FOR YOUR PIECES Knead white, green and red fondant adding a pinch of tylose( CMC), roll and cut 6 bases using a circle cutter.
Step 1 Roll a 0.5cm thick layer of white fondant and use a large piping tip( or a small circle cutter) to create a brim( 7g).
Step 2 Knead 15g of red fondant in a cone shape and twist the tip to one side. Use the back of your knife to indent top of hat, to give it some movement.
Step 3 Roll a small piece of white fondant and glue to the tip of the hat using water or piping gel.
Step 5 Using a paintbrush and water / piping gel glue all three pieces together and glue it to a green base.
