Step 10 Place your cupcake on the tissue paper square and wrap around the cupcake, just so it ' s wrapped to the rim of the patty. This will hide any gaps in the holder and also help you if you need to move the cupcake around. Leave some of the tissue paper out on the outer side to cover the rim of the display holder.
Step 11 Carefully place each cupcake into the cups, gently moving the vine out of the way if necessary. Use a knife to help guide the cupcakes in. Once all the cupcakes are positioned, you can lift the display holder and tap it on the counter a few times; this will help the cupcakes slide a bit further inside. The internal shelf of the display holder will prevent the cups from sliding too far, while the tissue paper will also help keep them in place.
Step 12 Begin decorating with buttercream and sprinkles – the design is entirely up to you, and the colours you choose can coordinate with your piped cupcakes. Don’ t overdo it; you want the vine to remain visible.
