Step 1 Grab a small handful of spaghetti, say around 35- 40 strands( a lot goes a long way). Take your pot and water and start cooking the spaghetti. Stir the spaghetti with a fork to separate any clumps.
Step 2 Once the spaghetti is fully immersed in the simmering water, whilst gently stirring, add 3-4 drops of green colour and continue stirring until the colour and water have fully blended. Bring to the boil and then turn off the heat and let your spaghetti sit in the water for approximately 2- 3 minutes to continue absorbing the green colour. Stir occasionally. Check that the spaghetti is still undercooked but easily pliable – it will have some slight resistance against the fork as you stir. You don’ t want the spaghetti to be so soft that it turns to mush when you are handling it. Note: Thinner spaghetti absorbs more colour while cooking and bakes faster.
Step 3 Whilst the spaghetti is sitting in the water, preheat your oven to around 185 degrees, so it’ s ready to go when you have finished designing your vine. Take your sheet of baking paper, enough to cover the bouquet holder, and place on top of the display holder.
