Step 4
Place your bow template on top of your fondant and lightly roll your rolling pin over it to help press the template gently into place. It’ ll still move, but this will help to keep it steady.
Step 5 Using your pizza cutter and / or scalpel, cut around your template. Lift the template away and you’ ll be left with your fondant bow cut-out! This is the flat shape that will form your bow. The edges might be a little bit rough from cutting, so feel free to neaten it further with your scalpel or use your warm fingers to smooth out the edges( the warmth of your hands can work wonders here!)
Step 6 Turn over your fondant so the good side is now facing down. Using a small brush, dab a little water onto the centre. Bring each side of the bow into the middle and press gently to secure( the water will act as glue). If your bow isn’ t holding its shape, tuck a bit of tissue or paper towel into the loops to help hold them until dry.
