Step 1 Assemble your tools needed for this project.
Step 2 Roll the cone onto the baking paper to mark out a template and cut this out.
Step 3 Step 4 Roll out your fondant and cut it slightly larger than the template as pictured to allow for extra width at the top of the cone.
Smear shortening onto the fondant so it sticks to the cone.
