BADGES What are badges ?
Badges are patches that go onto your arm and show people what you have achieved in your time at the Air Cadets . Badges also help you go on camps , acting like a qualification to go places .
UNIFORM
Uniform brings a huge sense of pride while wearing in the Air Cadets . Your uniform consists of working blues , field clothing ( camouflage ), NO 4 SD ( to be worn for formal evening events ) and lots more for you to wear when you come along to the Air Cadets .
DRILL
Drill is what cadets get taught as soon as the join the organisation . Drill is an essential skill to have in the cadets because you use it almost every day , drill consists of static ( standing still ) and marching ( using drill while moving ) Cadets are required to attend events if they have uniform like Remembrance Parade ( 10 th November ).
Lastly if you are interested in joining the Air Cadets pop round and say hello and I ' m sure they will be pleased to have you . If you are under the age of 12 YR old you can sadly not join the Air Cadets , but don ’ t worry because as soon as you turn 12 you can join and have lots of fun . Also remember if you know anyone who sits on the sofa all day tell them to come along and they can help the staff with teaching and more ! So , what are you waiting for come and join the RAF Air Cadets and join the next generation of the RAF .
ACTIVITIES
In the Air Cadets , cadets get to go on camps and trips to lots of different places across the world !
Cadets can go on field trips to camps and learn how to survive in the wilderness and learn skills that can help you wherever you go . You can also go on trips across the country to Lossiemouth and more , plus cadets can go across the world Aswell ! For example , cadets can do to France , Cyprus , Canada and lots more .
