Working on updating the Judges Committee information .

Marketing & Promotions : Rachel Duenow Working with Anthony on the Champ Show program . The Champ Show program will also be available on cell phones . There are 32 Champ Show vendors , 10 more than last year . Sending out the electrical permits . Coliseum boxes are all sold out .

Nominating : Kevin Berger Requesting the Board Members to recruit for the upcoming open positions on the Board .

Procedures : Sandy Strube Rachel updated the Board Member form . Motion made by Kevin Berger , seconded by Ann Goebel to approve the new form , and replace Kevin Berger ’ s name with prevailing nominating chair . Motion carried unanimously .

Sandy resent the stall procedure with noted change .

Publicity : Lori Taylor : Absent . Royalty Court presented report . Bella – MS . Games , Sara – MS . Horsemanship , Ashley – Princess , Emily – Queen and MS . Congeniality thanked WSCA for the great opportunity to be part of the WSCA Royalty Court . The Royalty Banquet went great . At the Special Olympics the Royalty Court handed out awards . The Royalty show was a little smaller than hoped for but went well . The Royalty Court helped hand out awards at the State Fair . The new WSCA Flag was received .

Royalty : Bridget Behrns Absent . Read Bridget ’ s report . The Royalty banquet held on August 12 ^th and went very well . Bridget is currently finalizing details for the riding portion of the contest on September 21 ^st . Everything is on track for the Royalty contest .

Rulebook : Cindy Ladd Absent . Emily gave Rule Book money to Arlene and will bring Rule Books to show office on Wednesday of Champ Show week .

Safety Committee : Corey Swartout Absent . Nothing to report .

Scholarship : Julie Gintner Letters have been mailed to the three recipients of the Scholarship awards .

Old Business :

Still working with company that holds the liability insurance to look into insurance for the stalls . Having difficulties getting insurance quotes , as with the non- profit status makes it a unique organization .

New Business : None .

Steve Bobzin looked into the guidelines from the Special Olympics for verbiage regarding adaptive classes . He also spoke to the North Metro Association for insight regarding adaptive classes . Motion made by James Duenow , seconded by Steve Bobzin to form an adaptive riding committee for the 2023 Champ Show , with Lynn-Ellen St . Martin as the chairperson . Motion carried unanimously .
