In October 2021 , Owner Joseph R . Paolino , Jr ., General Manager Jennifer Curtin , and Bellini GM Robert D ' Arcangelo , opened their hearts and doors to the public , with the first boutique hotel opening in Providence in nearly a decade .
The much anticipated grand opening of The Beatrice , a new 47-room boutique hotel located in the bustling historic district of downtown Providence , Rhode Island is now complete . The jewel in Paolino Properties ' portfolio , The Beatrice is situated in the iconic 1887 Exchange Building . An homage to the Paolino family matriarch , Beatrice Temkin , The Beatrice is designed with today ’ s sophisticated traveler in mind . An upscale gathering place for locals ( Bea wouldn ' t have it any other way ), the hotel features the debut of the worldclass Bellini restaurant by Ignazio Cipriani , and an exclusive private rooftop club for members and hotel guests .
